I would not call myself an Extreme Couponer, but I found some good deals today that I would like to share with you.

First, I headed to Staples with a $6 rewards certificate and two ink cartridges to turn in for credit. I picked up an 18 pack of Pentel retractable ball point pens which have an instant rebate that goes to your rewards account. You don’t even need to fill anything out, which is great. Thanks to Couponing to Disney for sharing this deal.
While at Staples I also found Staples brand 50 assorted brights specialty envelopes for a special price of $3.00. I believe they are normally 5.99. These are 4-3/4 by 6-1/2 inches so they will hold 4 by 6 photos as well as cards.
Then I was off to Dunkin Donuts for my free frozen hot chocolate from a coupon in the Sunday paper.
I stopped by Aldi’s for fresh fruits and picked up strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and some zucchini. All of these were less expensive at Aldi’s than at Target, where I headed next. (I don’t know if my Target would even have zucchini.) I won’t quote prices for Aldi’s as I have found that my Aldi’s prices are low for my area but Aldi’s elsewhere have even lower prices since I live in a high cost of living area.
Finally, I headed to Target. I did not get all awesome deals there, but I did want to suggest you print out the $3 off women’s shorts on the Target site since I ended up with a pair of Merona Bermuda shorts for $1.98 since they were on the clearance rack. In addition, girls Circo jeans are on clearance for 50 percent off, so now might be the time to stock up for the fall. I picked up two pair of Circo jeans for my oldest daughter for the fall.
If you have a CARS fan in the family, you might want to buy some Kellogg’s cereal. Some packages that are on sale for $2.50 have a coupon for a free die cast car if you purchase three boxes of cereal. I used a Target coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon (each for a dollar off) to get three boxes of cereal and a die cast CARS car (usually 3.99) for a total of $5.50 plus tax.
