We had 7 inches of rain last night, after having received a bunch of rain last week. So, the ground is saturated and we have what appears to be waterfront property in these photos. Of course, if you have not seen this area before, it might not be that impressive. Everywhere you see water in the photos normally has none. This is just a little run-off stream for the rain to wash off the streets into the side stream that leads into Bull Run. During most of the year even the side stream has so little water in it that it would not be visible in the photos.

I remember being little and getting rain like that in our yard. There was a huge field next dooor and my brother, sister, and I would go swim in it. Haha. Probably not healthy, but we did it anyways!
